For the competition in 2025, the DIELINE Awards has partnered with LUXE PACK, the premier trade show that showcases innovative packaging. The LUXE PACK conference, which is a must-attend event, is the main location and gathering point for the design community of packaging. The winners of the DIELINE Awards 2025 will be announced and displayed at LUXE PACK in New York City between May 7 and 8 2025. All winners will be announced on DIELINE——the world’s most popular brand and packaging design for consumers website.

The Dieline Awards is where big concepts meet powerful design. Here you will witness impressive innovation and exceptional design. DIELINE invites risk-taking people and industry leaders to present how packaging is changing. In addition, how better packaging could help make the world a better place?

Introduction

The Dieline Awards was founded in 2007. It is a worldwide design prize that is focused on the design of packaging. It is now in its 16th year it is among the largest international competitions for packaging design. Dieline Awards is committed to finding the best packaging designs and praising the best of them. Thus increasing awareness about consumer packaging design and branding worth.

Winners of the Dieline Awards not only provide amazing designs but many companies that are committed to using non-plastic materials and focusing on the environment also serve as an excellent reference point in the direction of development of this industry.

Registration method and time

Enter by visiting the official website, filling out the online entry form, and uploading photos and digital renderings. Different entry fees apply depending on the entry group.
Register before July 31st to receive a discount.
All entries must have been created, produced, or launched in retail or e-commerce between January 1, 2024, and February 28, 2025.
Winners will be announced and exhibited at LUXE PACK New York and DIELINE on May 7-8, 2025.

——Taxi Studio’s Dasani Refresh is Thirst Quenching

Dasani

Coca-Cola introduced Dasani, its brand of bottled water in the year 1999. Dasani has been the leader in this category for the past more than 25 years. However, people have noticed that their brand is losing ground to newer attractive, visually appealing brands. Dasani recognized the need for a refresh of their brand. And contacted Taxi Studio to help them redesign their brand using new branding and color schemes that will remain relevant.

Dasani’s “S” in Dasani is longer to make it more reminiscent of gentle waves that lap gently. The typeface has been simplified and modernized. Furthermore, Dasani has adopted “Sky Blue” as its new color scheme. The new identity’s visual style is more serene and aquatic as well as the more simplified layout is more contemporary and sophisticated. In keeping with the H2O feast the Wavy label is more appealing and attractive than the straight-edged design. In addition, Dasani’s crisp, clean, and fresh characteristics.

“Dasani was one of the first mainstream water brands to enter the market 25 years ago and has weathered the changing landscape of the category.” said Shawnika McPherson, Dasani Brand Director. “They modernized their logo and label to stand out on the water shelf with a more premium, calming look and feel.

Pleasing

Recently, Harry Styles successfully launched his cosmetic line, Pleasing. Pleasing launched its brand by offering elegantly designed packaging as well as gender neutral nail polishes.

In the end, Pleasing intends to expand its business and is expanding into the world of sunscreen. The brand’s new range of 100% zinc-oxide-based products. Including Solar Dew mineral cream with 50+ SPF and Big Lip moisture balm, that has 30+ SPF of protection.

Dieline Awards 2024 announced

First Prize: Sprinkle Redesign to Reduce

Creative Agency: Prompt Design

Sprinkle uses transparent, colorless, label-free, and easily recyclable packaging. According to reports, its design is based on the concept of “REDESIGN TO REDUCE“, using the scenario story of the melting of Arctic ice and snow to remind people to pay attention to global climate change. And the following three scenarios are designed on the surface of the bottle.

The first bottle is a crystal bottle with large pieces of Arctic ice on the bottle wall. The second bottle is a bottle with ice slowly melting. The third bottle is a bottle with the glacier ice layer disappearing, leaving only the last piece of ice. The animated illustration of the bottle shape is not a conventional traditional reinforced pattern, but a sculptural design that replicates the expression of melting ice. The barcode is printed on the surface of the bottle cap using washable ink.

Second Prize: PangPang Pusher

Creative Agency: Jens Nilsson

Jens Nilsson’s packaging design concept for the fruity sour beer line PangPang Pusher uses bright colors illustrations, and fonts that are easy to read. The typography, colors and illustrations are fun and vibrant. The illustration is intended to resemble a hand holding an opaque plastic bag that contains fruits. The fruit inside the bag suggests the taste of this product. The transparent portion of the illustration not just showcases the transparent look of the bag but also the silver metal part of the can. This design element enhances the attractiveness of packaging.

Best Beverage Award

Creative Agency: PepsiCo Design + Innovation

PepsiCo Design + Innovation is focused on “excitement” as the agency for design responsible for this innovative concept. The company hopes to bring peace to people’s lives through the brand’s new packaging design.

Its signature green color the striking red dot remains as well and the tones of citrus depicting the taste of soda lemon are accentuated. The long shadow of”7″ visually brings a sensation of “upward” movement, and the overall design is modern and minimalist.

The competitors believe that even though its design bottle is more simple. It contains some thought-provoking particulars. For example, the tiny icons that make people think of limes and lemons, and the tiny bubbles that symbolize carbonated drinks.
